Silver Linings Retreats at Home

by Olivia Cartwright,

Isolation can be isolating and now more than ever we have to focus on our health, body and minds. We are aiming to use this time productively and for personal growth as much as we can and choosing to use this as an opportunity to reset and recharge our batteries.

We are absolutely loving the incredible offerings from our favourite Silver Linings Retreats and it compliments your next juice cleanse perfectly should you want to combine them. They have 3 or 5 day courses so you can do your own retreat from the comfort of home.

Their stay home retreats are based around their core principles of health which are mindful movement, nutrition, rest and recovery, and sleep. What better activity to dedicate your time to than to work on and better yourself with the guidance of their amazing team of experts.

Each day is different and their bite-sized sessions are designed to fit around your normal daily commitments. Plus the classes are yours so you can come back to them again and again too. Finally, a percentage of the profits from each retreat is donated to the COVID19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization so you not only helping yourself.

Lockdown on Health

These are strange and uncertain times for everyone but life is all about your perspective and there are always 2 ways to look at something.

The fast paced lifestyle we all know so well only seemed to gain momentum and accelerate further each year. Life today is measured by extremes and more is always more. How much you can get done, how frequently you travel, how many followers you have, how much money you can make. Time became so precious and every moment of our days planned and organised. Somewhere we got our priorities confused and the fundamentals of life like health, family and nature got put on the back burner.

There is a sweetness in this enforced simplicity and it’s opportunity to get back to basics. We are choosing to see this isolation as being given back the gift of time, an opportunity to tip the balance back in the right direction and reassess our priorities.

Making healthy choices, taking the time to cook nutritious food, calling your friends or family, reading a book, practicing mindfulness and generally reconnecting. How rare it is to have the opportunity for so much free time.

This is the perfect chance to do a longer cleanse whilst you have the time. You can dedicate yourself to effective pre and post cleanse dieting to gently ease your way in and out of your cleanse and to get the best results. We rarely have the space in our diary to do a 5 day cleanse so it makes perfect sense to do it now especially as we are doing everything in our power to keep our immunity up and focus on our health. It also will help us commit to our healthy lifestyle as a cleanse is an amazing tool to hit reset and forge new habits and mindsets.

Have you thought about doing a longer cleanse in this time?
